2. Our Service.
When you place an order through PJ's Pick A Pearl you will receive an email acknowledging your order, giving details of your products and estimated timescales for delivery. This email does not confirm acceptance of your order by us. Your order is only accepted when we dispatch the goods and send you an email confirming we have dispatched your order. Without affecting your right of cancellation set out in section 5 below, you can cancel your order for a product at no cost any time before we send the Dispatch Confirmation relating to that product.
You consent to receive sales invoices electronically. Electronic invoices will be sent in pdf format to the email you provided or can be found on your registered account with us. If you prefer to have a hard copy of your invoice, please contact us and we will send one in the post.
All products sold by PJ's Pick A Pearl are 925 Sterling Silver unless stated otherwise and should be of perfect quality. Should any product you purchase from us prove unsatisfactory in use due to defective workmanship, faulty material, you have the right to reject the goods within 30 days of receiving your order. You have the right to request that faulty or goods not as we have described are replaced or refunded in this time frame.
Please ensure you complete a return form in section 5 and obtain and keep a receipt from the courier so we can credit your account if your parcel goes astray.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
4. Delivery and Postage
With our standard delivery service you should receive your goods within 2-3 weeks from the date you place your order. Please note this may take slightly longer subject to stock availability or for personalised goods as some pieces of jewellery have to be sent off for drilling and mounting of the pearl(s). You will be notified of any delays as soon as with the option of waiting or cancelling the order and receiving a refund. All orders are delivered to the address that was given during check out. We use Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For when dispatching the product which is not guaranteed as Next Day delivery.
Postage & Packaging
Postage & packing will be charged at a fixed rate of £2.50 within mainland UK and £10.00 international for Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For. Special delivery 1st class is available for £6.45. If the cost internationally is less than the specified amount, a refund will be given for the overage amount.
All orders will come wrapped in a pink and white bag and a jiffy bag as standard. A gift box is available at an extra cost.
5. Cancellations and Returns
Unless one of the exceptions is listed below, you may cancel your order without reason from the moment you place your order to 14 days after you receive your goods ("distance selling regulations"). Please click and complete this Cancellation Form We will make the refund without any undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive back from you any goods supplied. You, the customer, will have to pay the direct cost of returning the goods to us with a proof of postage receipt (from the post office). We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless it is expressly agreed otherwise.
We will not give a refund until we have received the goods back and checked the condition of the product(s) were the same as they left.
You must return the goods no later than 14 days after you inform us of the cancellation. Please click and complete this Returns Form and include this in your parcel.
For reasons of health and hygiene, earrings for pierced ears are excluded from your right to cancel should the sealed goods be opened after delivery.
If we are unable to supply your purchase, an offer of an alternative product of the same price will be made or a refund will be given.

We take all concerns and complaints very seriously and will respond and try to resolve any complaint that is received as quickly as possible. If you are still dissatisfied, or your complaint has not been resolved then you can refer it to the

The website should always be showing our correct current prices inclusive of VAT. However, whilst we attempt to ensure all our online prices are shown accurately, errors may sometimes happen. If an error is discovered after placing your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of confirming your order at the corrected price or cancelling it. If we cannot contact you, we will cancel the order and inform you. If you cancel your order but have already made payment(s) against your invoice, those payments will be refunded in full.
Valuations of your pearl during an opening are an approximate estimation and should be taken to an Independent Valuer, at your cost, if you want a more accurate valuation.
